Introduction

Every institution deserves a professional digital presence that reflects its mission and makes information easily accessible. The Gramsevak Training Center (ETC) Gargoti, under the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Government of Maharashtra, needed an official website to showcase its training programs, institutional information, staff, and resources.

This project involved designing and developing a complete website from the ground up with a focus on usability, responsiveness, and a clean government-standard interface.

💻 Tech Stack

The website was developed using a modern full-stack technology stack to deliver high performance, scalability, security, and a seamless user experience.

Frontend

  • Next.js – React framework for fast rendering, routing, and SEO optimization.
  • React – Component-based library for building interactive user interfaces.
  • TypeScript – Adds static typing for improved code quality and maintainability.
  • Tailwind CSS – Utility-first CSS framework for creating responsive and modern UI designs.

Backend & Services

  • Node.js – JavaScript runtime for server-side development.
  • Express.js – Lightweight web framework used to build RESTful APIs and handle backend logic.
  • Supabase (Premium) – Used for authentication, storage, real-time features, and backend services.
  • PostgreSQL – Powerful relational database for secure and efficient data management.

This stack was chosen to build a scalable, maintainable, and production-ready government website with a modern development workflow.

Challenges

Developing an information-rich government website required careful planning to maintain clarity, responsiveness, and performance. Organizing multiple sections, optimizing images, and ensuring a consistent user experience across devices were key challenges throughout the project.

Outcome

The final website provides a professional online presence for Gramsevak Training Center (ETC) Gargoti, making institutional information, training resources, staff details, and contact information easily accessible through a modern, responsive, and user-friendly platform.

Conclusion

This project demonstrates how a thoughtfully designed government website can combine functionality, accessibility, and a clean visual experience. By developing the website from scratch, the focus remained on creating a reliable and scalable platform that supports the institute's mission while delivering a seamless experience for its users.
